Fancy a film? Checkout some of the options at reception! Guardians of the Galaxy 1 and 2: I AM GROOT, I AM GROOT I AM GROOT I AM GROOT. I AM GROOT... I AM GROOT Bad Neighbours: A nice and eventful comedy with a few famous faces. Follows a relaxed young adult couple that have just started a family and a moved into a new home. Unfortunately, the house next door is purchased by a group of guys struggling to run a 'typical' fraternity. Lot's of fun, just don't get any ideas guys. The Lost Boys: Traditional horror from the good old days. Teenage vampires done right with just the right amount of blood, drama, and gore. Still a better love story than Twilight.
Pick up your tickets in the reception!
Video games night is about to kick off! Get down to the cinema room ASAP to play the games of your choice!! ⏰

Welcome to our weekly Wednesday film review! In this edition Charlotte tells us about the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Notting Hill and A Street Cat Named Bob. Of course, Lord of the Rings is an absolute classic and many lengthy hours of screenplay and procrastination will be had. One does not simply walk into Mordor, but one does simply walk into Jofo reception to borrow this DVD! Notting Hill (a personal favorite), will bring humour, cringey moments and tears in true 1990s spirit. A stupendous watch, and one that can be repeatedly watched until the script becomes second nature. Pop along to reception to inquire for rental. Finally, A Street Cat Named Bob is an uplifting film based on a true story. Great for anyone who loves cats. Slightly over scripted but a heartfelt film nonetheless. 🐈
In next weeks Cook and Eat session (March 13th) the theme is ‘makeaway takeaway!’ We are making Thai green curry and beef burgers! 🍔🙌 Check out lasts weeks Cook and Eat on our Instagram! —> https://instagram.com/p/BgCUB7Al_bi/

More brilliant photos of the Botanical Gardens here in Oadby taken by one of our residents. If you get some photos in the snow around the Student Village, we'd love to see them. 📷#OSV #OadbyStudentVillage #UniversityOfLeicester #UniOfLeicester #UniversityLife #RA #Leicester #Oadby #UOL #GalaxyRadio
