It’s World Mental Health Day. Looking after yourself isn’t just a physical thing. As many clients come to me with things such as depression, anxiety and sleep disorders as they do physical aches and pains. Massage can help. Escaping the ‘real world’ for an hour can help. Do you need to tell me about your mental well-being during your consultation? Not if you don’t want to. Can you? Of course. Sometimes I am used as a safe and confidential place to ‘offload’ and talk. Other times, the silence is just as therapeutic.
