The Falls of Clyde Wildlife Reserve and Visitor Centre offers a great day out for walkers, families and nature lovers. Home to waterfalls, woodland walks, badgers, dippers and more. The Scottish Wildlife Trust Falls of Clyde and Visitor Centre is nestled in the Clyde Valley and is part of the Clyde Valley Woodlands National Nature Reserve.
This woodland reserve is famous for its spectacular waterfalls and woodland trails, badgers, dippers, kingfishers and the occasional otter!
Our unmanned Visitor Centre is open daily from 10am to 4pm. It is the perfect starting point for a taking a walk on the reserve with interactive displays and the Rangers most recent wildlife sightings.
We have five waymarked woodlands walks of varying lengths which lead you around the reserve. Our most famous waterfall is only a 30 minute walk away along our magnificent riverside boardwalk.
Entry is free for Scottish Wildlife Trust members. Non-members we ask for £3 admission.
We run events throughout the year including Badger Watches from May to August, Hedgehog House Building Workshops, Family Woodland Adventures and many other events suitable for all ages.
