The New Year 2017 Men's Ba' was thrown up by Alan Rorie (Uppie winner 1992) and won by Uppie Derek Robb at 17:17. It was a splendid game with much good play on both sides. Several Uppie smuggles won the game.

The Xmas 2016 men's Ba' was one of the shortest in recent times. It was thrown up by Leslie Manson (Bax 1991 Uppie winner). After about 5 minutes Steven MacPhail sprinted down the street Ba' in hand in a clean break. Fergus MacIvor then completed the run to the Basin. At 13:25 Geordie Rendall was hoisted up the proud winner. More photos at bagame.com
