A lot of the work carried out by our centre volunteers is normally done behind the scenes. Today, you can have a sneak peak at the hard work they have been putting in. Garioch Heritage Centre is home to a huge collection of archival material, some of which is suffering from mould and damp. Rather than lose this valuable information we train our volunteers in conservation practices so that they can preserve the documents for future generations. You can see Caroline and Graeme at work in the centre today until 1pm.
