Scotscraig Bowling Club

Scotscraig bowling club is situated in Dougall Street in Tayport.
https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1906220182742019&id=261072027256851 Bowling green is usually open from lunchtime daily during the bowling season (from mid April until end of September). The green is open to members and general public for play and bowls, mats etc. are available for use, all you need to bring are smooth soled shoes. Cost is £2 per player per game for visitors. Social bowling is usually on each Wednesday from 6.45pm and is a good opportunity to meet some of the members and coaching is available to all. Club membership is also available and application forms are on main notice board in the Club. Licensed bar is also available. See Club for opening times.

Some new dates/events for your diaries folks. Friday 27th September - we have at least one member who is Braving the Shave for Macmillan Cancer fundraising. To ease the pain we are also holding our famous Cocktail night at the same time in the Club. On Sunday 29th September Linda is hosting her Coffee morning/afternoon for Mcmillan cancer and donations for raffles, cakes etc. will be gratefully received. We are also closing the green that day with our points competition, the Wedderspoon Medal. Please come along and support these events.... the money raised is going to a great cause. Exact timings will be advertised nearer the time to remind you all.

Winners today, Lizzie Myles won the ladies championship against Linda Carruthers and Graham Ewart won the men's senior singles against Andy Lowe. Some great bowlingvin both games and a good support from spectators

On Sunday we will be seeing the first couple of the club knockout competition finals being played. Linda Carruthers and Lizzie Myles will compete for the ladies singes championship and Andy Lowe and Graham Ewart compete for the men's senior singles championship. Games due to start at 2pm and spectators very welcome to support the players.
