To all parents with children on the waiting list. We have been working on our classes and have made space for more than 30 gymnasts to come in from the waiting list! If you haven't recently been contacted then we haven't got to you just yet but please be assured that you will have moved significantly up in the queue!

We’ve just had this letter from the CEO of Welsh Gymnastics! 😀😀😀😀😀 To: Haverfordwest staff, committee and volunteers Dear All, I am writing on behalf of WG to thank everyone who was involved in making the Tumbling event an extremely successful one, this week-end. My colleague, Maria Gaynor was overwhelmed by the support and collegiality shown by everyone, from the early preparatory stages to the end of the event. Some of the comments she made are as follows: 1. During preparation for this competition, Jason Hirst (the tumble coach) was hugely helpful and his communication, answering copious emails and calls were always prompt, polite and informative. 2. On Friday afternoon, right through to 8pm all hands were on deck for the set up and during this time the volunteer committee members provided refreshments 3. People arrived an hour before the comp started to set everything up and the committee were extremely accommodating, helping at every stage of competition preparation time. 4. During the whole competition all the judges were kept fully refreshed and a buffet lunch was organised for them on both days. 5. A raffle was organised and lots of parents have mentioned the prizes were by far the best they had seen at any competition. 6. The door was manned all weekend by a volunteer at the club – Julia James, with Jo Somers helping to keep the track and routines moving smoothly. 7. Once the competition had finished the committee and all the volunteers came together to clear everything away and put all the equipment away. The display of teamwork was second to none, for which WG is very grateful. Let’s hope the Wales team of tumblers have an enjoyable and successful experience at the British Semi Finals in June. For all gymnasts competing this weekend if you have as yet not had your leotard please get in touch. And please give your leotards back in after you have finished the competition that day if possible. If not please bring them back in your next lesson. Please do not wash them.

We require a PA system for the weekend. If anyone knows of one that we can borrow or can hire for a decent price please let us know a.s.a.p. Thanks!
