I just wanted to dispel a strange rumour I heard recently. Apparently someone saw me buying stuff in Iceland and jumped to the conclusion that our Sunday roasts are all bought in and heated up! Lol. Actually, our Sunday roast ingredients are bought fresh from local suppliers: our meat is supplied by Woodleigh Mill - Sausages and Traditional Family Butchers and our fresh veg is supplied by H&H Produce. I shop in Iceland for frozen buffet items, for our darts nights and I'm also rather partial to their Greggs home-bake sausage rolls - as we need to eat during the week too! :-D

The King's Head are hosting Hailsham FM's Beer & Music Festival, with 4 Harvey's ales, 12 guest ales & 4 ciders; live music every day; all day BBQ and guest appearances from Hailsham FM DJs !! Hog Roast on Saturday too. (Vegan alternative available every day.)

THIS FRIDAY - first Open Evening in the Sean Snee Memorial Shield pool competition. To enter, just be here and register before 7.30pm. Entry costs £1. (In exceptional circumstances, telephone registration may be accepted.)

My fleece went missing on Saturday. Someone moved it to one of the tables at the start of the day and by the time I got outside at the end everything had been.packed away and it had gone.
