Something a bit different happened today. There was a Peace Walk in Hailsham - all the way down the High Street, stopping off at the War Memorial, and then down to the Farmer's Market. We were treated to a display by the brilliant Pentacle Drummers.

A big thank you to our new stall erectors (Chris, Jim and Dan) who done a stirling job at 6:30 this morning, and also to our stall dismantlers, the Young Farmers who also helped with relocating the frameworks to their new home. Also thanks to the stallholders and customers who make the hard work worthwhile. A good and very positive day was had. See you all next month for July's market

UPDATE Assistance has been found. The community spirit in Hailsham is a really special one. Thank you for taking the time to share the request. We look forward to seeing many of you tomorrow at the market. Good folk and much appreciated supporters of the market. We need the assistance of a man/woman with a vehicle which is able to tow a trailer early on Saturday morning. Please comment if you could assist and we will contact you.
