Happy New Year (& a belated Merry Christmas!) from sunny Tenerife! I hope you have all had a wonderful time over the festive period and Santa was good to you all! After a busy December we've been enjoying a week in the sun filled with plenty of fun, ice cream and relaxing. I'd like to thank you for your continued support (& purchases!) through 2017, even although I've been pretty quite here I've certainly been kept busy! Wishing you all a fabulous 2018! 🥂

After a couple of busy days celebrating Poppy's 5th birthday it was quite nice to get out on my own this morning for a wee jaunt delivering stock. Driving almost 100 miles listening to Christmas songs has left me feeling rather festive and wanting to put up my tree.....best leave it another few weeks!!

One the things I love about this job is that when I do have to go out and about it can become a great wee family day out. Today we took a trip to Gourock to see the lovely Heather & Nick at The Pirate and Bluebelle stopping at Cardwell Garden Centre on the way. I'm a big fan of a good garden centre even more so when it has an arts & crafts shop full of ribbon, fabric & wool...what's not to love?! A lot of boxes ticked today - restocking, swings, slides & sand, ice cream, fresh air & now two tired children!

Janet & John there's a box of map brooches on the way. Hopefully they'll arrive in time for all the weekend shoppers!

I had a quick visit earlier this week from the lovely Suzi of Sunshine No.1, looks like she's been busy!

It's a brooch day for me today. Tilly's decided she taking a big nap after being up for a few hours during the night 😕 oh well, at least I'm getting through a good bit of work!

My wee apprentice and I were out and about today making our deliveries. Elba Artisan Gallery in Milngavie is now stocked up again with a new selection of map frames and local map brooches.

Hello and hasn't it been a while! With my two little ladies taking pretty much all of my time these days there hasn't been too much time left for work....not that I'm complaining mind you! It's been an eventful week for us here with our big girl Poppy spreading her wings that little bit more and starting school! Realising that I'll now have a bit more time again and that my excuses will soon run thin, I've cleared out my workroom and day to day work has resumed, not as painful as I had expected! So, I'm still here working as and when I can and, as always, just give me a shout should you be looking for anything 😊 I'll leave you for now with a photo of my big girls first day, proud mummy indeed!

Hello! Sorry it's been a while since I've posted but I'm still here! With two little ones around the time seems to be flying past at an alarming rate. Back in the workroom today though trying to get my head in a work mode. Not such an exciting job to start me off right enough - quality control 😏!

I still remember those lazy Sundays....long lie (now known in our house as 7am!), nice breakfast, watch some tv, potter about maybe even an afternoon nap! Not today, girls packed up and off to soft play for it opening with their Daddy and straight to work for me. Working on some local heart map frames and brooches for The Pirate and Bluebelle, they'll be there in time for Valentines Day ❤️. And would I change it...nah, not at all! Have a great day everyone 😀

Evening! Hope you've all had a great weekend. Today we had a nice family day out which ended with a visit to see the lovely Janet & John in the West End. Map frames had sold out there over Christmas but they're now restocked and ready to find new homes! Pop by for a look you're in the area, I hear there's a few new artists joining the shop this week too.
