Perfect for any occasion. It started with a book......it turned in to a passion.
Jo from No Books Were Harmed is a full time, dedicated, no-cut, hand folding book artist based in Moray, who supplies a number of national & international retailers, private dealers & art galleries with their folded book art needs & exhibits her work at select events throughout Scotland.
With a prices ranging from £10 - £125ish and most pieces being in the the region of £15-35, I can offer something for most budgets. Private & commercial commissions are my specialty - and don't cost the earth.
I am a full time book folding artist, working from my home studio in Moray. The effects you see here are achieved by my very careful hand-folding of the individual pages of old, unwanted books. I'm very much a one trick pony, and spend my days (and nights!) honing my art.
Myself and my pretties carry comprehensive commercial insurances (as do our cars & vans) and are available for workshops, talks & demos throughout the country.

"Tick" isn't something that No Books Were Harmed.co.uk offers (I would, but MY bank manager doesn't accept it, so I can't either!), but earlier this year I left this book with a member of the terrific cleaning team of Bon Accord Aberdeen. The lady in question hadn't expected it quite so soon, and wasn't at work that day. That was fine with me, I knew she'd not run away. That was the last day #NoBooksOnTour was in The Bon Accord. This weekend past, said lady finally had a day off that coincided with me being in Union Square Aberdeen and duly hunted me down and paid her dues! I really do have the best customers in the world...sat working away with Elvis on Spotifiy reminded me to share this with you! ~ Jo
No Books Were Harmed.co.uk joins Inverness Gift Box, Mackreations, Little Miss Teenie and others (including Ostara Skincare - Aromatherapy Body Products, apologies if I've missed anyone) in Eastgate Shopping Centre, Inverness until the weekend after next (9/10th December). I'd hoped to get through with a top up of stock today, but time & weather conspired against me, so what's there is all that'll be there until the Handmade In the Highlands pop up...un pops!
