Mothering Sunday was warm and sunny, Georgina and Josh came with me to the beach so that I could take more dogs. We enjoyed a walk along the beach, hot chocolate in the harbour and were stopped every few minutes for people to say hello to the dogs who enjoyed so much attention
We had a great day at Crufts, Stuart was 5th in the puppy dog class. Betsy wasn’t even placed this year after winning both classes last year but she couldn’t have done better. I was really happy with both of them, very proud and wouldn’t swap them for any other dogs in the show. There’s always hope for next time!
Stuart is all ready for his first Crufts, he’s in the puppy class on Friday. Not sure how he’s going to react when I tell him he can’t take his bucket!
Stuart went out into the snow for the first time very gingerly but was racing round in no time.
Puppies have all gone to their new homes over the weekend, all fabulous families, I couldn’t have wished for better. It’s very quiet here this morning and with snow forecast for tomorrow I’m planning a log fire and duvet day doing absolutely nothing.
Mabel (Brontillow Lady Dane)
Douglas (Tendrow Elberta) and Elsie’s (Vandilli Vivid Almond) puppies had their health checks and were microchipped this morning. They were all as good as gold, confident and curious and not even a whine when Craig chipped them. Their KC registered names are Brontillow First Foot Brontillow Winter Solstice Brontillow Auld Land Syne Brontillow Galette Des Rois
BARGAIN GPS DOG TRACKER! I bought a Kippy Vita GPS tracker from the Vodafone shop on Friday on a half price offer for £27 (in store only until 21st). There is a £4 monthly subscription for the GPS (no contract) it works from an App on my phone. Instructions are very easy to follow. It does need a Vodafone sim to pay and activate. I’m with O2 but I bought a Vodafone pay as you go SIM card for 99p and topped it up. I just changed the SIM card in my phone to activate then back to O2. It works like a Fitbit for your dog, you can put a fence round your garden (or park etc) and if the dog crosses the line you get an alert. Battery charges with a USB and lasts for up to 5 days. Betsy is our escape artist and can go for 2-3 hours at a time, I never know which direction she went. There’s a 30 day return policy if you’re not happy with it. It’s all ready to go so I’ll be trying it out later.
