The MoT test changes in May, and details are starting to emerge. I'm slightly concerned about "leaking fluids" being a fail under the new test. All Maseratis leak fluids!

My favourite Italian Carrozzeria are Zagato and Touring, so it's good to see Touring back in the game. I just hope that this is more "Leggera" than "Super" and they do something to reduce the corpulent bulk of the two ton car it's based upon...

I did not know that there was a Lamborghini motorcycle, but, apparently there was. Ten were made and this one is a snip with an estimated price of around £90K. It makes Fezzas look good value!

The "Top Gear" Cuba trip is repeated on BBC2 on Sunday. See me as a blue dot in the background, and the Maserati 222 that I rebuilt for the show thrashing everything that the Cubans could throw at it. I wish I was in Cuba now, blue skies, 28C, lovely...

Apparently, it's a bit unreliable... Normally, I'd just advise him to get a 3200GT with it's Volvo-like reliability, but, they're not allowed in the USA until they're 25 years old, which is only a little over 5 years time. Anyone celebrating the 20th anniversary of the car that saved Maserati?

As expected, and can only be good news. As someone with a few old cars, I'm glad to see the back of the constant yearly negotiation with a tester over a test that's designed for modern, fuel injected, ABS equipped, stability controlled, rock hard suspended cars and trying to apply it to a wobbly old car. "It's meant to do that", and, "they all do that" being heard from me on more than one occasion. I'm also glad that they didn't extend the exemption to 1988 - that would include my Integrale and my Biturbo. They are modern cars and need testing as such. My 1975 Alfa Spyder, less so...
