Description
Rabbit is Exeter's first 100% vegan cafe, located just four doors away from Seasons vegan store. Rabbit is not only the first cafe in Exeter with a 100% plant based and mainly organic menu but it is also the site of the recently uncovered remains of the ancient holy well of St Sidwell. The holy well is said to mark where the ‘virtuous maiden’ St Sidwell, an Anglo-Saxon saint who gave her name to this part of the city, was cut down by haymakers’ scythes. Legend says a spring burst forth where she fell, and it then became a place of pilgrimage throughout the medieval period. Come and make a wish!
We also have an amazing mural decorating our walls painted by the talented folks at WallsRus.
We have lunches, sandwiches and desserts. Dual menu with healthy and 'junk' food options. Coffees, teas and cakes. Eat in or take away.
Parking available nearby in King William Car Park . There are also meters in King William Street (opposite the Well Street turning from York Road).

Each weekend a different special. ✨ This weekend's special is UNCLE SAM'S AMERICAN DREAM ✨ One of our quarter pounder patties, on a bed of creamy in-house garlic mayo with lettuce, tomato & sliced gherkins, smothered in our own bbq sauce and mac & cheeze and then topped with onion rings! Served in a toasted bun with a side of fries. 🇺🇸️🍔🍟🐰

On our regular menu from tomorrow: Mac & Cheeze! 😍 Made with our own mature cheddar-style cheeze and topped with a garlic herb crumb and facon bits. Served either in a bowl with a separate salad or side of fries or on top of a tofu dog with slaw and fries. 🐰
Bring in the spring by eating flowers on this Classic Vanilla Cheezecake. Gluten free and made with cashew. Delish. 🌻 We also have this Chocolate Raspberry Torte (GF) in the fridge and a Banana & Date Loaf (NRS) sweetened with coconut sugar on the counter. 🐰😋
