New blend is very nice. Excellent flavour profile with a nice crema. I need to do a back to back test with Campo Norte. A good shot following a repair of the Isomac, had leak from antivac valve. Sorted.
Had a lovely coffee in Edinburgh this week. They use Square Mile red brick blend. I don't have the exact ingredients but close. I'll roast a couple of batches and report. Might sit well alongside Campo Norte.

I knew it!
Now then, a new blend on the books. No name for it yet (open to suggestions) less chocolaty and sweet than Campo Norte but good body and nutty with a sort of tobacco soaked in rum finish. Its lovely! Skull n Cross Bones Blend perhaps?

Roasting this afternoon. Campo Norte, lots of it. I have found that it does indeed get better 4-5 days after roasting. Slightly darker than what is currently in fashion which also has a positive benefit to the flavour in the cup. Oh btw thanks to Northern Edge Coffee for supplying my green beans and being a thoroughly nice chap. Cheers Dan!
