this was one of the greatest cabaret international night clubs in britain creatated by joe pullen & fred talbot & continued with a complete referbisment by roy mozley who brought some of the biggest names in show business to eccles hi my name is roy mozley & i had the great pleasure of owning the talk of the north after it had been closed for a while & had some exstensive refubishment done to bring it back to being one of the outstanding if not the best cabaret /disco in britain .at the time i was also an directer of fagins manchester & my other associate in fagins was john bagnall who before we bought it was the manager & i was the sole booking agent we at fagins had some of the top american & british artists working there so when myself & john parted company & i bought the talk of the north i continued with the similar formatt at the talk as i had done at fagins i also think that with having the exsperience that i had aquired from fagins & my theatrical agents that this helped to make it has the key number one caberet place again
