Our Christmas Tree Decoration competition winners as below were chosen by our first customer in the shop this morning (who did not have an entry)........congratulations to Alice Whyte and Anne Gilmartin who win £20 vouchers. Our raffle winner is Anna Holmes who wins our box of goodies to the value of £80 which includes wool, pins, a quilted bag, fat quarters, haberdashery, pictures from 10 x 9 Design, cards from The Ricketty Desk, a window ornament from Moss Glass Design and a hair clip holder from Worn to Wonderful. Congratulations to you all........look out for our fantastic Festival of Fun week in February to celebrate our 1st Anniversary when we will have more competitions, raffle & fantastic prizes on offer to celebrate. 8th January sees the start of our January sale so come down and find yourself a bargain.....a minimum of 20% off fabric & wool.
We are starting cookery classes in the New Year, what would be your preference? Please feel free to comment with other options.
Make a textured wallhanging using various fabrics and techniques. You will learn: Free machining Layering of fabric (cotton & organzas) Cutting back/away You will be shown how to burn organza fabric using a soldering iron, but if you prefer, the tutor can do this on your wallhanging for you. (Brown wallhanging in photo shows effect achieved). All materials supplied. (Fabric size will be a fat eighth i.e. 25cms x 50cms piece). Packs will be made up for the class. If you require a larger wallhanging you will be required to purchase materials.
