We are open! Just posted our first blog of the season on our website! Our first visitors left this morning and left a fabulous message, they loved it. Work hopefully starting on the Hobbit houses next week. The Wee Howf is having a freshen up and Lewis of Keir Joinery is working on some alterations to the Wash Howf as I type. The animals are looking forward to the spring sun. Will be keeping you posted on the Hobbit Houses here and on the blog. Look forward to seeing lots of visitors this year. H x

On my rounds of the Howfs this evening two pictures caught my eye. The Donks.....appealing for a carrot and our lone wee turklet snuggling up with his new found friends the Rhea trio from Wales.
Breaking news at the Howfs... The Wee Wee Howf is finished! A miniature version of the Wee Howf built just beside it across the burn It houses a shower, a compost loo, wash hand basin, washing up sink and cooking are. It is solar powered and self contained which means no more trips to the Wash Howf if you don't want to! Come and give it a try. Pictures to follow! Designed by Ian built by Keir Joinery!

The end of a huge effort. A dream of Ians turned in to a reality. A major craftsmen achievement for Ian and Lewis. The Tree Howf opened with 5 minutes to spare before its first guests but we managed a quick glass of bubbly just before they arrived. Then with our three children, their partners and our lovely grandson we officially opened it this evening.
