Description
Phoenix Tennis Club are registered in the C & D Tennis League. We offer competitive and recreational play on 8 hard courts at Spring Lane Sports Ground. Phoenix Tennis Club is a tennis club situated at the Spring Lane Sports Ground, The Chase, Spring Lane, Colchester, Essex, CO3 4AZ.
For over 40 years it has provided a friendly environment for both recreational and competitive play.
The summer season lasts from the start of April to the end of October and offers members the opportunity to engage in 3 club sessions a week: Tuesday & Thursday evenings (shared with Spring Lane Tennis Club) and Saturday afternoons.
Alongside this the club is affiliated to the Colchester & District Tennis League, offering competitive Mens, Ladies & Mixed Doubles play against other local clubs, at various ability levels.
Furthermore we run internal tournaments throughout the season: Mens, Ladies & Mixed Doubles as well as Mens & Ladies Singles.
