Boxing in of steels and repair work. Here we had to make the best of somebody else's very bad work. The patio doors and windows had been measured and put in wrong, so the top was all out of place and was a symmetrical eye saw. POLISHED TRAVERTINE PLASTER Here we applied a highly textured & compressed marmarino Lime/marble plaster in different shades of grey. The customers wanted an urban/industrial aged polished concrete look, which after many application attempts whilst working together (two customers both specialising in antiques and art) we finally found the look and desired effect/finish. The substrate beneath did have some hairline cracks due to the nature of the 200 year old walls but was easily resolved by applying a 2mm base coat of flexible tile adhesive, bedding in a very fine render mesh then passing over with a second 1mm coat of the same. The marble is then applied in multiple layers and finally waxed and polished. Great job, great and very happy customers, Thank you Will & Al Carl Buxton
