Another snipet from today's session continuing with the cables and band💪 don't get me wrong I used a variety of kit today but I wanted to give you guys some ideas. Personal training is a luxury so I'd like to share ideas with you that you can do on your own in the gym that I feel are effective and safe. Here I'm performing a simple upright row with the long bar attached to each end with a wide grip. Working the traps, biceps and shoulders. I have a band already in position to continue. A sniper from my shoulder work out today. Try it👍 you might like it👌 First of all I did my usual warm ups and mobility. What you see here is a TRI SET. No rest until the 3rd exercise was done. Top left: cable rear fly Bottom left: cable side raises Right: standing cable s/press. NOTE: this was after my heavy sets of dumbbell shoulder pressing as basic sets. However the band makes a huge difference and combining both is a no brainer. IMPORTANT NOTE- I am there to allow Alice to do a Drop Set!!! Hip thrusts demonstrated by this dedicated woman. A resistance band is under the towel and the chain weighs just over 20kg. (WHAT THIS DOES?) It really changes how the tension works.
