We have had a very special visitor on campus here at Fusehill Street Carlisle this morning. Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal paid us a visit to help mark our 10th anniversary.
Have you spotted this amazing garden up on the roof of the Barn Cafe at our Ambleside campus? Pop up to the library and look out of the window... The roof is covered with flowers and plants that butterflies and bees adore... it's a beautiful sight (that this poor photo could never do justice!).

How often do you walk through our campuses and really take the time to look closely at the many items, artefacts and art works around you? Our Lancaster campus is full of interesting treasures... This beautiful painting shows Professor Hugh Pollard, the first Principal of St Martin's College. I love the campus scene you can see in the background with the Chapel and Keep.

On Saturday, 16 of our Charlotte Mason alumni and staff members from 1967 - 1970 met up back on campus for a reunion. We enjoyed a lively campus tour, reminisced over old photos and had afternoon tea in the Beehive. The group were joined by Revd. Doreen Harrison who taught Geography from 1961 until 1992 and Clive Walkley, who was the Music Lecturer.
An exciting day in Ambleside ahead... A reunion for our class of 1970 from Charlotte Mason College. Also as part of the national Heritage Open Days we are giving visitors the chance to see inside our Millet building and discover it's beautiful and fascinating secrets... do pop in to see us if you are in Ambleside, between 1 and 4.
