Reviews

“Rectory Farm is simply a delightful venue. We had our wedding reception here on Saturday 19th May 2012 and Alison and Roger Foster were extremely accommodating. During the preceding 6 months, Alison was very attentive in helping us plan our day. We live in Hawaii and were corresponding with Rectory Farm predominantly via email; we received friendly, efficient and overall very helpful responses to our many (and sometimes length and perhaps slight obscure!) requests. During the weekend of our wedding Alison and Roger were most welcoming to our guests and gave us full reign of their venue for hire. They remained in the background, but were there if we needed them. The venue itself is stunning – simple, yet elegant. The house and the garden are beautifully kept; and the marquee is by far the best we have seen for a wedding venue, with a sturdy floor, beautiful toilets and complete with Chandeliers from Venice. The reception tent was also perfect for my elderly father, who cannot be parted from his cigar for too long! The on-site accommodation was perfect for many of our guests who travelled from afar, who could make it their home for the weekend. The suite was a fabulous room for me to get ready in, also, with my girl friends on the morning of our wedding. We had a wonderful weekend and wedding day here and would highly recommend Rectory Farm.” Fiona and James (19th May 2012)

“Dear Roger and Alison, We just wanted to send a little note to say what a fantastic day we had at our wedding. Your venue is amazing and we had many comments from our friends saying the same! Chimneys did a great job and the food was simply delicious! Our day was absolutely perfect and we just wish we could do it all again!!” Lindsay and Will (23rd June 2012)

“Dear Alison and Roger, Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our day so special. As soon as we came to Rectory Farm we knew this was the place and every stage you have put us first and made us feel fantastic! Your attitude and attention to detail is like no other venue and it has been 1st class and exactly as we dreamt!” Leigh and Emma (30th June 2012)

“Dear Alison and Roger, Thank you so much for all your help in organising our wedding. We had the most perfect day at Rectory Farm and everyone said how beautiful it all was there. We are sad that it’s all over but we now have some beautiful photos to look at. Thanks again for everything.” Jessica and Oliver (16th June 2012)

“We used Rectory Farm as our wedding venue for the reception after our family wedding. Roger and Alison Foster were exemplary in all they did for us and it made for a very happy weekend. The service was superb and breakfast was quite delicious. The use of the tennis court was wonderful and kept the groom, best man, brother and father of the bride busy!” Victoria and Paddy (April 2012)
