Last Thursday Fr Colin Stewart, Fr Tad Turski and Deacon Vincent McQuaid celebrated the last Mass in Preshome of this season. Thank you to all those who made it to that Mass and have supported the church over the last year. We will return to St Gregory’s in April; hopefully there will be new lights in place by then.

Our Lady of Sorrows
Sermon delivered at St Gregory’s, Preshome on Thursday 15th September by Deacon Vincent McQuaid. Recognition of the Sorrows of Our Lady, which we commemorate in today's feast, was largely due to the Servite Order, who adopted it as their principal devotion in the mid 13th century. Also known as the Order of the Servants of Mary, the Servites developed the Rosary of the Seven Sorrows and the Black Scapular which I'm sure most of you will remember and recognise.
