facebook.comA really big thank you to all the friends who have been so generous with their help for Santa's Grotto at the Lake. The day is fast approaching and we're all being busy elfs getting things ready! The big appeal during these last few days is for anyone with any time to spare on Saturday(setting up) or Sunday (being a Santa's helper). It's going to be a crisp, sunny day and we'll keep everyone warm with a lovely wide selection of homemade soups with bread. If you're able to make us your favourite soup to add to the selection, we'll be delighted! Pick up can be arranged. Thank you x
Santa’s Grotto on the Lake If you’re decorating your house for Christmas over the coming week and are tempted to get rid of stuff you don’t want to use, we’d love them to decorate our grotto! Also, any working fairy lights would be amazing. Thank you! Please spread the word!
Amazing to see over 600 people taking part in the inaugural Park Run today. Especially inspiring to watch them as they did a lap around the lake! Many ,many runners talked of the joy of being able to get a chance to see just how beautiful our park is once you drop down into the 'valley' with all it has to offer. Here's hoping that many of them will return to enjoy it at a more leisurely pace.
