Only three days to go to our first Mini Maestros workshop and our second Musical Maestros one on Thursday, 27th October. Still not too late to sign up. Mini Maestros is suitable for under 5s with their parents/carers and is at 9.45am. Lots of fun musical activities to teach rhythm, pitch, pulse and movement to music all with an autumn theme. Musical Maestros is suitable for those in school years 3-7 already engaged in learning an instrument. We will look at note naming, triads, composers, Italian terms, co-ordination and much more. The next Musical Maestros workshop for children in school years 3-7 takes place on Thursday, 27th October 1-4pm in Long Ashton Village Hall. In this workshop we are going to teach triads on a giant stave (children will be the notes), use a parachute to look at the form of Mozart's Marriage of Figaro Overture, play memory game and Jenga to learn Italian terms, use singing games with multiple actions to encourage co-ordination when learning an instrument, and much more! £20 per child, sibling discounts available. Our first mini maestros!

Just over four weeks to go to our first Mini Maestros holiday workshop on Thursday, 27th October. Suitable for under 5s, we will have lots of fun with nursery rhymes, rhythm using animal flashcards and claves, instrument songs, action songs, music and movement and lots more! All with an autumn theme. Long Ashton Village Hall 10am for approximately 45 minutes. Cost £5, £3 siblings. Due to so many people being away on the 18th August we have postponed our workshop until October half-term. We look forward to seeing lots of you along then!

Musical Maestros

Plans are well underway with the content of our next workshop. We are going to continue with some of the exciting games we played last time but also include lots of new ones. There will be stick tapping, stave jumping and we will even be using a parachute to look at the musical form of a piece by Mozart! Thursday, 18th August 10am to 1pm in Long Ashton Village Hall. £20.
