Andrew with a trout caught at the taster session this evening
We are holding a bit of an informal "taster session" at Logie Pond tomorrow evening. Anyone who would like to try fly fishing, adult or youngster, is welcome to come along between 6.00pm and 8.00pm. Its opposite Ladywell Sawmill, Logie, turn right before you come into Kirrie from the Glamis side
It is with great sadness that I intimate the news of the passing of Harry Burness, our longest serving club secretary, who left us at the age of 88 on Wednesday, at Ninewells Hospital, after a short illness. Harry was a stalwart club secretary, and honorary member, who encouraged all that fished the KAC water. He is survived by his son, Harry, and his family. Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time. DS
Richard Davidson had an 8lb Springer at Finavon today :-)

Ally soldiered on like the true pro caster he is in a horrible gusty downstream wind and every one of the 16 members attending went away with a little snippet here and there to work on to improve their technique. Well done and thanks for your continued support Ally, and thanks also to the members who turned out and helped make the event the success it was
See you at Gella tomorrow. Mind the clocks go forward tonight 👍
