Welcome to our page. We are a part of Wyevale Garden Centres, bringing joy and inspiration to everyone's garden. One of the largest garden centres in Essex, Braintree Garden Centre lies just off the A120, ½ mile from Freeport Designer Village. Opened in April 1990, the centre offers a wide range of shopping as well as an impressive range of plants and gardening products.
The staff members have a wealth of gardening expertise they love to share with customers. Four have over 20 years' experience with the company whilst another four have over 15! Enthusiasm, helpfulness and a desire to inspire the gardeners of the future are the cornerstones of their ethos, resulting in events such as promotional weekends at which the staff are on hand to pass on their knowledge and links with local primary schools to grow vegetables in specially made raised beds at the centre.
Whilst plants and gardening remain the passion of the team, the centre has diversified to offer shopping that includes gifts, pets and books and a restaurant serving delicious home-cooked food. As well as the immaculate plantarea, the pride and joy of the staff is their Christmas display; customers come from far afield to enter into the spirit of Christmas here and enjoy an atmosphere that invariably exceeds expectations.
