facebook.comIt's that time of year again when we start to think about harvesting honey. It's been a good winter with the hives doing well and in recent weeks they have stretched their wings and been flying about collecting honey, so much so that some have even looked like wasps as they've been covered in so much pollen. As always we will give regular updates as to when we have honey. Just so you know and can pass on to others we are more than happy to come and collect swarms that people have in gardens or hiding in houses and buildings. Nothing will carry a cost it's a hobby and the welfare of the bees are more important. Can I ask that you continue to share our page with others, if you have business pages, please share us.

Crop number two of 2016, and we've run out of jars! Collected more than we thought.

Well it's arrived. First crop of 2016. Not bad considering we lost swarms at the end of last year and in only the last month or so we have had swarms move in.

Having lost 4 hives in the last year to wasps and unexplained deaths we are please to say that we have gone from 3 hives back up to 6. 3 swarms have kindly moved in and are doing well.
Folks, it's getting to that time of year where the bees are starting to get busy. In the next couple of weeks we will be checking them and giving them more space to work and live. We'll keep you posted.
