The Mid Brae Inn, situated in central Brae Shetland, is a public bar, lounge restaurant with a beer garden, serving fresh locally sourced food. For over 200 years the Mid Brae has been an Inn, it has been owned by Diane Davis and Andrea Manson since 1992.
We have the cosy family orientated Lounge Bar which seats up to 54, we can seat more for functions. You will be met with a warm Shetland welcome from Diane and her staff,
All our food is locally sourced using only the best of Shetland Seafood and ingredients, our beef is 100% Orkney Prime, hand selected for quality from Farm Assured Farms in Orkney by our own butcher, E.R & T Craigies of Tankerness. This beef is born and bred in Orkney which gives us complete traceability, this beef is succulent and tender.
Our menu is good hearty home cooking at its very best, we cater for all dietary requirements, half portion meals, and a children's menu are also available.
The Mid Brae Inn, stocks a wide range of Shetland Beers and Spirits, also a world wide range of Wines, Beers and Spirits, to suit the most educated of palettes.
Both bars also stock a range of alcohol free lager, cider and soft drinks.
