We would just like to assure all of our customers this is not in fact true. We offer a wide variety of sausages within our store and have done for many years. We offer a hog casing and for those who do not consume pork we offer a synthetic (man made) casing. These are produced from collagen and the brand we use are Viscofan. Viscofan are one of the worlds leading manufacturers of synthetic casings and are completely food safe and consumable. Should the use of any plastics ever be found to be used in the production of any of our products we would not be trading. Rumours such as this can be very concerning to ourselves and our customers so we would like to invite anyone with any concerns over our synthetic skins to speak with us so we can reassure them.
