✈️EDINBURGH AIRPORT UPDATE 1839 hrs on : OPERATIONS FOR SATURDAY 03 March 2018 Edinburgh Airport is open tomorrow for business as usual. The weather warnings suggests no significant snow at Edinburgh Airport overnight. Our airfield and snow clearance teams have done an amazing job throughout the day and we have a clear runway and ramp. We have had confirmation from our airlines that most intend to fly a full schedule tomorrow, including British Airways, Jet2 and FlyBe. However, due to weather disruption at other European airports, there have been some cancellations and may be more tomorrow morning. Ryanair and easyJet have confirmed early morning cancellations – easyJet’s early morning Alicante is the only scheduled early flight with the full schedule to commence from 10:00. Ryanair has cancelled two early Dublin flights before their full schedule begins later in the morning. Aer Lingus have confirmed a 3 hour delay on their flight to Cork. Please check their websites for full details. As this situation is very fluid, it is important that passengers check with their airline regarding their flight details before travelling to the airport tomorrow. We understand that the situation can be frustrating and we continue thank passengers for their ongoing patience and support. Weather warnings remain in place and the safety of our passengers and our staff is our priority. We ask people to make safe decisions regarding their travel.

Further update from Edinburgh Airport 01 March 2018 Edinburgh Airport will close fully from 6pm this evening. Airlines that are still planning to run operations in advance of that closure are: • Lufthansa • Jet2 • Qatar • Brussels • Etihad • Loganair We ask that all other passengers DO NOT come to the airport. All passengers should check with their airline before travelling to the airport We believe that closure at 6pm gives us the best opportunity to prepare for tomorrow. We are expecting further disruption tomorrow and that the situation regarding getting staff to and from the airport will remain challenging. For now, our priority is our passengers and our staff. We are working closely with Marketing Edinburgh and the city’s hoteliers to find accommodation for any stranded passengers. We are grateful for the response from city hotels to house those who need it. The safety of our passengers and our staff are our priority, and we ask people to make safe decisions regarding their travel.
