I can't believe the detail on this brooch. Such fine work, on something so small. I am cleaning it up for the customer.

This is easily, the largest old cut diamond that I have worked on. I have just altered the finger size for the customer. Not as many facets on the diamond as a modern brilliant cut stone. But, I love it. So rare to see a stone like this!
Not very often I have an emerald this large, in my workshop. Came in for a quick polish.
A customer came to see me regarding her broken ring. I unset the diamonds from the old broken remains, and set them in an all new ring.
So a customer came in and said, Geoff, can you polish this for me? I will be back in 15 minutes. And as they walk out customer says, oh , be careful, it is an expensive emerald. No pressure then....
This ring came in for repair. The shoulders on both sides, cracked through, and some diamonds had been lost.
Cut out the damaged shoulder.
