This is a really interesting article on what is perceived to be a ‘fitness body’ It’s food for thought... 🤔 Being ‘physically fit’ encompasses many things other than your physical appearance. Focus on your OWN journey through fitness, enjoy your achievements however big or small they may seem. Trying to attain or aspiring to a certain look is mostly a futile task as we’re all so different. Stop comparing yourself to others and just work on being a happier, healthier version of you! 👊🏻😉
Powerlifting post 🏋🏼♀️🏋🏼♀️🏋🏼♀️ I’m coming to the end of my current training block. This month was focused on volume (lower weights, higher reps) to help build strength. Whilst I’m not a massive fan of videoing myself it does help to highlight where I’m going wrong.. it’s not always possible to feel it when you’re focused on just lifting it up and not getting splattered on the floor 😂 # This was 50Kgs. 3rd set. Current body weight 48Kgs # I actually thought these felt good, but on viewing this I’ve noticed a bad habit of lifting my heels off the floor at the end of the squat 🤷🏼♀️ dunno why??? 🙄 Anyway it’s useful for this, so now with that mind, I’ll work on my form again.. 🙈 always learning... 🤓 I’ll keep going and will get there!
