Good Morning all, to clarify this mornings tough decision, it is very rare we do cancel at Barnsley, however, even though we had a team out gritting sections of the course, there was just too much to clear throughout the whole course, the ice was extremely compacted and very thick, it is only through having the interests of safety as top priority that we chose to cancel, apologies to all who turned up, many thanks to the volunteers who arrived and great effort by those who were out there gritting. See you all on NYD, as it is the "double" day, we shall start the run @ 9am PROMPT to enable those going elsewhere afterwards a good chance of making it in time. #DFYB
