So about time I got the facebook page back up to date! Ironically I thought I'd spend some time, something I appear to be short of at the moment to tell you just how busy we are currently! With lots of new horse and rider combinations this year there's a lot of work going on at the moment getting everyone ready for the New Year and season to come! Playing the waiting game for liveries has paid off, we now have a yard (very nearly!) full of liveries all here for the same reason - looking for the help and guidance that I've set myself up to provide. Slots for freelance clients are now full until spring and in my role at North Oxon RC, we are fully gearing up for when we jump back into competitions in January! I've included a selection of photo's from this year and bid to do a better job of keeping the page updated as time goes on! Thanks for the continued support everyone!

LOVELY ALL ROUNDER FOR SALE 16hh -8yr old Mare £4995 After nearly three very happy years, Melody is unfortunately for sale to help fund my son’s ‘horse upgrade’. She has always been kept alongside my son’s event horse, on full livery with a professional rider, so is always brilliantly mannered on the ground and under saddle. For most of her time with us, she’s been my (amateur mum!) hacking horse, something to play around on in the school and a brilliant, safe horse for my son to hunt on. For her party piece she is always surprisingly competitive when the yard plays ‘chase me Charlie,’ giving the jump horses a good run for their money despite her cobby build. Unfortunately we have never concentrated long enough on her show jumping, as her ability to scale a hedge and perform well at hunter trials was always most pressing, which means she doesn’t give a pole as much respect as she should when jumping a course. Recently, in order to boost her CV and to highlight her real talent, my son has taken her to a few BDs. Melody has competed in prelims, gaining 1st and 2nd placings on both outings with 67%. She will continue with her training in the New Year and at the tender age of 8, she still has lots to give. She has lovely rhythmical paces, uphill in her stride and has learnt to sit on her hind leg very naturally. Melody has been more regularly schooled in the weeks leading up to her sale and is now working better than ever, having quickly picked up lateral movements and becoming more and more ‘push button’ When I hack Melody, I find her happiest in company but my son never has any problems. I think that she realises when I am on my own, as my instructor says my legs are a little ‘ineffective and flappy.’ It just means that we go down the road a little looky, not as chilled as she could be, but never naughty. Just not as ploddy as when we hack with friends. Melody is a lovely looking horse, a very smart, proud head with bright bold colours. She’s a competitive horse, forward thinking and active, not a plod. She wants to be ridden like a competition horse, challenged, pushed and to have her brain engaged now and then. All in all a good home is very important for her; we are mindful that this isn’t a great time for selling so are happy to consider reasonable offers but we are in no rush to sell her for the sake of it. She is being sold on our behalf by our instructor who has known her since we bought her. He is more than happy to take calls and answer any questions you may have. Great trial facilities and flexible on viewings. Rugs and bridle available if required and open to any vetting. £4995
