Dear all Fb friends I would like to give you an information about the Gurkha Peace Foundation Annual event regarding Gurkha Walk 2017. It is going to be held at Eastwell Manor Park state, in beautiful countryside Ashford, Kent on 4th June 2017 at 0900 hrs at the boathouse. Please do join us for the memory of our 13 Gurkha Vcs, 13 Km walk or Run. All raise donation will go for the education help for helpless children in Nepal. Your small contribution can make a huge deferent. more information will be released very soon. Thank you.

Nepal: An international marathon was held in Kakani of Nuwakot on 26th November 2016 with the objective of promoting fraternity in the world. The three goal were sanitation and clean water, quality education and gender equality. All the fund collected from the registration will be going for the above three goals. A total of 409 athletes from various countries like Uk, France, Bolivia, Mauritius and hosts Nepal took part in marathon organized by the “Impact Marathon Series”. Of them, 243 were from Nepal among them 13 runners were from Gurkha Peace Foundation, Uk who took part and donate the fund through their registration. The marathon was conducted in three categories -42km, 21km and 10km The 42km marathon was held from kakani ANF(Armed Police Force) ground to Shivapuri and the remaining in surrounding villages. Although GPF team couldn’t obtain 1st , 2nd or 3rd position, all of our 13 runners complete the 21km(Half-Marathon) in time. All were really happy and enjoyed the nepali band “Kutumba’s” live concert which added more excitement and help them to forget their tiredness of running.
