ACE Voices empowers people to believe in their voice and inspire others to do the same in the North-East of Scotland, UK and further afield. Since its foundation in September 2011, ACE Voices has evolved into an inspiring network of creative projects, partnerships and communities involving 5000+ people of all ages in the North-East of Scotland, UK and further afield.

Our core mission involves empowering people to believe in their voice by facilitating transformative community spaces in which people feel empowered to let their own voice flow freely, purposefully and confidently, support others to do the same, and listen to and trust the whispery voice inside that guides them towards living their most authentic and meaningful life possible!

We believe that each and every person has a unique voice worth hearing, and that our voices encompass our whole sense of expression whether through singing, dance, storytelling, drumming, drawing, free-play, being outdoors, sports, the arts or any other medium of expression.

ACE Fundraising Party @ Airyhall Community Centre :)!! Thank-you so much to everyone from our youth choirs who took part in and supported this event on the 28th January! A great deal of dancing and singing fun was had by all, and we successfully launched our fundraising campaign for our ACE tour to Madison and USA in 2019, raising £230 on the night! A fab start! Also, it was brilliant to see members from our different groups mixing and having fun together, sowing the seeds for future ACE gatherings and events - watch this space! Many, many thanks to the wonderful team from Quirky Discos for leading the disco dancing on the night! Craig, Kate, Glen and Shona, you are ACE at what you do! Thank-you! Also, we're really grateful for the generous support from Caroline and the Airyhall Community Centre team - what a great local venue! Finally, very well done to Annie Dyer, one of our Airyhall ACE Seniors, who has accepted the new role of ACE Voices Official Photographer! After showing a lot of interest, skill and commitment in taking photos of the Seniors during the past year, I offered this opportunity to her, and she immediately agreed. As well as supporting a wider variety of ACE events, we will provide her with mentoring opportunities with professional photographers to help her develop her skills further. Thank-you, Annie, for taking photos at this event, and we're really looking forward to seeing your confidence grow and grow in the months and years to come! Watch out for more ACE parties coming up! Cheers, Alec and ACE Voices :)

EVENING EXPRESS CONCERT REHEARSAL TODAY :). After our wonderful session last Sunday (well done everyone :)), I confirm that there will be an ACE Voices Youth Choir rehearsal today (Sunday 4th December) for the members/youth leaders from Heathryburn and Airyhall ACE who are performing at the Evening Express event on Wednesday 7th December. It will run from 3.15-4.45pm at Craigiebuckler Scout Hut (Craigiebuckler Drive, Aberdeen, AB15 8SW). Members/Youth leaders can be dropped off from 3pm, and I'd be grateful if they could bring a bottle of water and a small snack with them. If you're unsure of how to find the venue, here are some directions: you go up/down Springfield Road; turn onto Craigiebuckler Avenue between a petrol station/Co-op and a church; take the 2nd turning on the left onto Craigiebuckler Drive; go right to the T-junction at the bottom; turn left, and you will come to the Scout Hut. There is a small car-park on site - it may be necessary to park before you get there to avoid congestion. I'd be very grateful for as full attendance as possible, and will send out final details for Wednesday 7th December at St Mark's later on today! Looking forward to singing with you all as we prepare for this incredibly exciting event! Many thanks for your support, Alec and ACE Voices :)
