This year we will celebrate International Archives Day, with a lunchtime event at the SHP Info Point (Door 6), today, Friday 9 June 2017, from 12.30 to 2 p.m. We invite you to join us and learn more about the importance of the preservation of institutional memory and how to evaluate paper files created by you, as UN staff members, when moving offices in the context of SHP. This will also be the occasion for you to discover unique historical archives produced by your predecessors, staff members of the League of Nations and of the UN at Geneva! We'll be there until 2.00 p.m. so please come along. We will be happy to answer any question that you might have.

In preparation for the new permanent building we've already moved 25,000.00 m3 of soil out of a total of quantity of 47,000.00 m3. That's enough to fill the Assembly Hall at the Palais des Nations.

NOW OPEN!! The new SHP Info Point at the Palais des Nations, in the lobby by Door 6. Over the coming years there will be a lot of practical information to share with staff, users and visitors to the Palais. We hope this new space will go some way to providing you with all the information you need about the project.
