Had the privilege to spend a day with this inspiring woman. Trying Diem Vy, Mrs Vy as she is known, is one of Vietnam’s most recognised restauranteurs and chefs. She is self thaught and has grown an empire of no less than 6 restaurants and a state of the art cooking school. Her restaurant the Morning Glory is the personal favorite of such world renowned chefs as Michelle Roux, the 3 Michelin star French chef who happens to have Vietnams' most highly rated French restaurant La Maison. Let's just say I was completely star struck!

Spent the day mangling and networking at the Årets Kock finals today. That is the final competition and awards for the Swedish professional chefs. The winner is awarded by none other than the Swedish Prince. Fantastic day!
