Last night in Slovenia! We had to go all out! Of the 4 restaurants in our small town of Sempas, 1 was open! Gostilina Zeja! What an amazing dinner. We shared homemade Truffle tortellini, Fish n chips, Minestrone soup, Grilled Calamari, Homemade Gnocchi with seafood, fresh salads, grilled vegetables and the Chocolate Mousse and Persimmon Panna Cotta. Because Slovenians are so kind we had free olive tapenade amuse bouche, free house wine, free sorbet and as much limoncello, something close to homemade Jagermeister and some other clear liquor like slivovitz we could drink.
