ISDN began as a noble idea borne of the belief in the sanctity of human life and the passion to alleviate the suffering of the average Nigerian and contributing toward sustainable growth and development of a stable and just Nigeria.  Initiative for Sustainable Development in Nigeria (ISDN) is a non-governmental, non-profit Organization that mainly focuses on promoting and fostering social and economic transformation by Nigerians through nurturing quality initiatives aimed at self-reliance and poverty reduction in an equitable and participatory manner.

Founded in 2010, Initiative for Sustainable Development in Nigeria began as a noble idea borne out of the belief on the sanctity of human life and the passion to alleviate the suffering of the average Nigerian and contributing toward sustainable growth and development of a stable and just Nigeria.

Initiative for Sustainable Development in Nigeria is an organization that supports good governance, quality legislation and proper policy implementation. In addition, ISDN plays the important role of carrying out public enlightenment and sensitization with special interest on children, youths, women and other vulnerable groups in the society towards sustainable development and policy engagement thereby promoting peace, unity and progress.
