Plan International Nigeria
Description
Plan Nigeria is a child centered organisation, implementing programs designed to strengthen and promote the rights of children and women. Plan International started programmes in Nigeria in 2014, following the acquisition of the Centre for Development and Population Activities (CEDPA), a USA-based international non-governmental organisation that began working in the country in 1985.
Plan International Nigeria’s priorities include increasing the enrolment of school children - especially girls - in basic education, improving the health of women and children, and strengthening child participation in the Nigerian children’s parliament.
