UNIVERSITY of Ilorin, Nigeria on the 7th, 8th and 9th of October 2014.

This event will enhance Economic developmental initiatives which will help to strengthen research commercialization and technology transfer opportunity in Africa’s tertiary institutions and research laboratories and centres with the opportunities identified not only on capacity and skills build-up, but also on the evaluation of the external climate which includes African national, regional priorities.

This conference provides a comprehensive system in Africa for the commercialization of research results and research based knowledge, indigenous transfer of technology and the continuous bridging of the gap between industry and the academic to the demand of the private and public sectors.

In getting an innovation to market, one must do more than just develop a technology that works, we need to understand how your technology meets a genuine market need.  We also need to have a clear understanding of how your technology might be commercialized, or are just beginning to explore the commercialization opportunities that might exist, this conference is designed to provide an outline of the possible routes you might take and the likely obstacles, challenges and decisions you will come across along the way
