Little Explorers is a new purpose built childcare centre opening in Newtownmountkennedy September 1st 2014. We offer a stimulating and loving environment for all children from 3 months of age to approximately 10 years of age. We are supportive of working families and you can avail of full and part time options with free pre-school for those qualifying for ECCE as well as morning breakfast club with drop off to/collection from school. Opening from 7am to 7pm Mon- Fri. Our highly motivated team will ensure that your child gets the very best of care and education, while our cook will cater for all your childs nutritional needs with freshly made healthy meals.

OPEN TOMORROW We are delighted to let you know all centres will be open tomorrow at 7am. The afterschool in Newtown will be closed until we can further assess some damage caused by the recent weather however children can be brought to the main creche building in the morning for breakfast club- we will keep you updated. Please be very careful around car parks and entrances as some frost is due this evening. We're sure everyone has had their fill of snow and happy to return to normal tomorrow 😀
Update: 28th Feb 18.50 hrs As the red alert warning is still in place until Friday afternoon at least and following advice given to all childcare providers in this unprecedented weather unfortunately we have no option but to remain closed for the rest of the week. We apologise again for any inconvenience and hope everyone stays safe and warm. X Due to dangerous travelling conditions and taking into account the safety of our families and team members we have made the difficult decision to close our centres. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience however safety must be paramount today. Should a status red alert stay in place for wicklow the centres will need to remain closed until it is lifted. Adverse weather Dear parents, Due to severe weather and dangerous road conditions several members of our staffing team will be unable to make it into our centres today. While we are trying to keep our centres open we will only be able to take in the number if children that our very limited staff ratio covers. We may also have to decide to close the creches during the day. There will be no ECCE today. Thank you for your understanding.
