Death Notice - Mr Matt Holohan RIP It is with great sadness that we inform you of the untimely passing of our Past Captain and long standing member Matt Holohan. We wish to extend our deepest sympathies to his wife Deirdre, the Holohan family and also Matt's wide circle of friends. Funeral details will follow. May he rest in peace. Nick Donnelly Captain
2017 Scratch Cup Results SHOT OF THE TOURNAMENT. Ross Kenny (winner) hit a wayward tee shot on the 14th hole, index 2, ball ended up in the trees on the left hand side - worst place to be on this hole. Only option to deal with this scenario was to punch the ball from among the trees back onto the fairway. Unfortunately, he failed to achieve this and left himself with a mighty challenge: his path to the green was blocked out by 40 ft tall trees on the left, 180 yards from the green, but, to his credit he struck a magnificent 5-iron shot to within 4 feet of the pin to hole out and save par. Remarkable shot from a talented player. Well done Ross and congratulations on your fine win.
