Description
Tullow Area School Completion Programme provides support for students and parents from Junior infants to Leaving Certificate. The School Completion Programme (SCP) is a school retention initiative , initally funded by the Department of Education & Science and the European Social Fund, now funded by the Department of Children and Youth Affairs. SCP was formerly part of the National Education Welfare Board, which has now come under the auspices of the new Child and Family Agency, TUSLA.
Tullow Area School Completion Programme supports eight local schools. They are;
Ballon N.S
Ballyconnell N.S
Rathvilly N.S
Rathoe N.S
St.Columba's N.S
Tullow Boys School
Tullow Girls School
Tullow Community School
The work of Tullow SCP is led by a Local Management Committee made up of ; School Principals, Parents, Local Statutory & Voluntary agencies.
The School Completion Programme provides support in four key areas;
1. In school - Supporting student and teacher within the classroom.
2.Out of school - working with young people who no longer attend school.
3. After school - working with students outside of school hours.
4.Holiday - working with students during holidays.

On Thursday 14th July, our family day trip took place and we travelled to southern county fishing resort. All the families had a fantastic day as the sun shined down on us 😊

Hi all, we hope you had a lovely Easter :) Just a quick reminder that our Parents Drop in service is open every Thursday from 10am - 11am in the SCP office. The family support worker is available during this time to discuss parenting issues with you in a safe confidential setting or if you would to call in for a cuppa and a chat or to find out more about Tullow SCP programme please call in during that time. No appointment necessary. Looking forwards to seeing you :)
