OSPCA'S WALK IN THE WOOD'S AT CHARLVILLE CASTLE TODAY IN MEMORY OF MARTINA OUR DEAR FRIEND & FELLOW VOLUNTEER WHO PASSED AWAY RECENTLY. A large gathering of Martina's family,friends,Ospca volunteers,animal lovers & supporters of Ospca turned out in force today with their beautifully behaved,much loved & well cared for dogs to enjoy a leisurely walk through the gorgeous grounds & woodlands at Charville Castle. Thank you to everyone for coming along & bringing your lovely dogs.Thank you especially to Reverend Nigel for blessing the animals & their owners & those who help the voluntary work of Ospca.Thank you Tommy for designing the great poster & for sorting the fine day for us.???😎 A special THANK YOU TO TOM & AOIFE two young children who had a little sale & raised €55 & sent it along today to help rescued animals in our care. The first of the pictures below shows a sign made by Martina shortly before she passed away & the 2nd picture is of Martina's own two dogs Hilda & Heidi who walked with her family today.xxxx

Straying Sunday 1st sep This little dog is wandering around the mount Lucas windmill farm area all morning and appears to be lost if you own this dog please bring him home as he is not in anyone’s care and may wander on to the road

This lovely gentle & friendly tabby cat has been straying in the Clonminch Woods area for the past few weeks & appears to have taken up residence in an unplanted "planter" We would love to find this sweet cats owner. She is distinctive in that she walks with a limp in her back leg.
