Best part of my job is chatting to customers. Just had a question regarding sirloin roast- many supermarkets are selling Sirlion roasting joints- sirloin roast is traditionally a striploin rolled- Sirloin roast rolled from the rump (traditionally sirloin steak in the butchers, aka diamond bone or rump steak ) will deliver a good roast but it is not a striploin roast. Striploin is marginally more expensive but is a finer joint...so know your sirloin from your rump:)we traditionally called our striploin steak a porterhouse steak ( just to complicate it more)lols
