I am thirty-something, German, living in Ireland, together with 2 kids, my rather handsome husband, two noisy dogs and a handful of cackling hens.
A few years ago, when my girl was only small and after I had decided to become a staying-at-home-mum, I obtained a passion for sewing colourful accessories and baby clothes from funky fabrics, I learned how to make colourful, sparkly jewellery, I decorated our house with my handmade home accessories, I kneaded, painted, got cocooned in kilometres of all sorts and colours of crocheting yarn AND.... when my daughter became a bit older, she got bitten by the crafting addiction bug, too. Our DIY base is our kitchen table at home. There's always glitter, bits of paper, wooden beads, glitter, threads, straws, glue, felt, play dough, glitter, paint, markers, fabric snipping... you name it!... in some corner in the kitchen and on the floor. Always. And glitter.
So, basically, I love crafts. And I love to let other happy families share in the joy of living a colourful life.

A tonsillitis infestation keeps me away from the workshop today. The kids and I are taking our penicillin and are on the mend but not well enough to go back to work yet. I hope to see you next week again! :-)
